BartonRock provides human capital related services. This includes but is not limited to executive search, recruitment, contract and interim management, HR/business advisory and executive coaching.
The company gathers personal data to complete its services to clients. Personal information is stored, processed and transferred at various stages of these services both during and sometimes after client engagements are completed.
The purpose of this policy is to confirm how BartonRock uses your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation that became law in May 2018.

This could include basic information and once we have your permission we may gather and share further personal information from you such as a curriculum vitae (CV) / resume, remuneration details and references to determine your suitability.

We collect personal data so we can match you to a career opportunity that we are working on at any one time with our clients. Alternatively, we require the personal data to perform advisory and executive search services in line with the quality standards we adhere to.
We will only keep your personal data for as long as we need to fulfil our client obligations or our legal requirements.
The basis for holding your personal data is determined by BartonRock’s contractual obligations and where there is a legitimate business interest. We will also hold the data when you have provided us with your consent to do so. If you withdraw consent and request to be removed then this will be completed immediately.
We will only share your personal data with clients who have a working relationship with BartonRock. Our international client base includes, but is not limited to: retail, consumer, technology, financial services, insurance, pharmaceutical and biotech.
BartonRock has a legitimate business interest in processing data to service its client obligations. Processing includes, but is not limited to, updating and keeping information accurate relating to: contact details; address; employment status; employers; roles; titles; compensation and a track record of correspondence through email, telephone conversations, face to face meetings or other communication. We recognise we have a requirement to ensure this data is accurate for the purposes of legitimate interest, contractual obligations and most importantly your rights as an individual.
Bank account data processing would only be incurred for those being pay rolled by BartonRock for contracting or interim management purposes.
We may also provide data to contracted third party providers who manage certain processes for us.

You may request information about the personal data we hold. Subject access requests should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org Handling of these requests will be free of charge but we may charge a reasonable fee if we receive repeated or excessive requests or further copies of the same information. We will respond within 14 days of submitting the request.
